An overcoat (thin flowy material) with prominent shoulders, two-toned and with a hijab that I initially thought could be chain mail (for a more warrior look)

Commission: She-Ra (Character design)

I got commissioned to work on a character illustration of She-Ra where I was requested with the following brief "Classic She-Ra, but Muslim (with hijab) with 80's/David Bowie aesthetics".
While designing the character I drew inspiration from many wonderful hijabi cosplayers, hijab styles with jewelry and fashion trends (emphasizing on South Asian and Middle Eastern fashion trends). I have shared my concept sketches to show how I went about the design process.
